Here are some results of the first firing. Rather than put a picture of Joan's bruised face, I am including one I took a few days before the fall. I was very pleased with the results in that I was able to reach cone 10 and the kiln more or less survived. And I STRONGLY SUGGEST to anyone firing this type of kiln in the future to wear knee pads!!
