Resizing an image: Resizing a picture is more successful when you make it smaller rather than larger. (discussion)

    To resize an image for the purpose of sending it as an attachment for email:

                                                                                    1.  Image>image size

                                                                                   2. Make sure the resolution is 72, and the pixel size is not larger than 500 in either width or height

                                                                                   3. Click OK:

                                                                                  4. Save as…. “smpic” for example

                              TO RESIZE AN IMAGE FOR PRINT:

                                         1.Image>image size

                                         2. change the document size so that it will fit on the paper you intend to print on-

                                         3. Resolution can be from 100-300

                                         4. Click OK

                              OPTIMIZING FOR THE WEB:

                                         1. IMAGE>SAVE FOR WEB

                                         2. SELECT THE QUALITY

                                         3. CLICK SAVE

                                         4. TYPE IN A NAME FOR THE FILE, AND A DESTINATION
