PAINTING WITH THE HISTORY-ART HISTORY BRUSH

The History Brush enables you to restore a picture you have worked on to a certain state.

In the History Palette, click to the left of the state you wish to return to.

Choose the history brush; choose opacity etc. in the options bar, paint.

 

ORIGINAL

 A FILTER WAS APPLIED AND THEN AREAS BROUGHT BACK

 TO NORMAL WITH THE  HISTORY BRUSH.

 

The Art History brush is located with the History brush. To use it, click to the left

of the state of the picture you want to paint from. Add a layer to the picture and fill

it with white. In the options bar choose the style, etc. For Area, (0-500) for the size

of the overall area the strokes can cover. The wider the area, the greater the number

of strokes will be applied. Tolerance-(0-100%) The longer you hold down the mouse

 button, the more colors will blend in that area. Paint on the white layer; feel free to

switch brush styles.

 

 

This version was painted with the ART History brush and then parts restored

using the History Brush.
