CROPPING

Photoshop/cadmus

A)    For composition:

           Select the crop tool (third down on left of tools)

1.      Hold the mouse button down as you drag the mouse across the part of the picture you want to keep-the part to be cut away will turn dark- make adjustments by dragging the boxes in or out

2.      Image>crop (or select the check mark at top of options bar)

3.      Save as cropped photo

  B) For perspective:

                                        1.  Drag the crop tool

                                                    2.. Click on PERSPECTIVE.

3.    Hold the mouse button down and drag the corners to line up the vertical or horizontal lines

 C) For size:                

       1. Choose the Crop tool

                                                       2. in the options bar, type in the height and width

                                                       3. Drag the tool across the area or picture

 D) To add canvas area:

1. Grab the edges of the picture and drag them  outward

                                                       2. Drag crop tool across the picture

                                                       3. Grab the handles and move them outward
