REQUIRED MATERIALS: notebook, pen/pencil, USB (flash) Drive (These can be purchased in the book store for 36.95-49.99) A glossary and other references will be used from the website listed above.

C) Saving images to the usb drive
D) Resizing, cropping and resolution
E) Image enhancements and corrections
F) Understanding and adjusting the Histogram
G) Using layers and adjustment layers
H.) Cut/paste
1.) Color, colorizing a grayscale image
J.) Gradients
K.) Using Type
L) Combine type and graphics
M) Picture package
N) Turn photographs into art, illustrations
O) Contact sheet
P) Filters
ATTENDANCE: It is mandatory that each student be present at each class meeting to develop maximum skills. Three or more absences may result in a failing grade will be given. Last date to withdraw with refund: Sept. 2.Last day to withdraw with a “W” grade: Oct. 22. NO CLASS: NOV 2 (ELECTION DAY)
NO FOOD OR DRINKS ARE ALLOWED IN LAB CLASSES.
EVALUATION:
Classwork assignments, attendance, quizzes, projects and the final portfolio will be averaged The grading system will be either Pass/Fail or grade, as requested by the student.
94-100=A, 88-93=B, 75-87=C, 66-74=D
