SCENES FROM THE THIRD CONE 10 WOOD FIRING, SEPTEMBER 25, 2004. Many
thanks to Elaine, Ruth, Sam, Larry, Mimi, and Dale who brought food,
helped fire, put out fire......kept me awake, watched over the kiln when I got
too weary. Thanks for the C101 fan which
improvised for wind, and Robbie's skewers which enabled us to cook hot
dogs in under 15 seconds. Cone 10 dropped at 9PM, but the whole process
did not end until 6:30AM, when the fireboxes were closed, the smoldering wood
